FRUIT & VEG EXCHANGE 2026 – St James’ Church Eco-Church initiative
From July – October (Harvest Festival) our Eco-Church Sunday Fruit & Veg stall is back up and running and we can’t wait to accept your donations of fruit, vegetables (home grown or purchased) and pickles/preserves. Simply bring your produce, home grown or purchased, along to the stall in St James’ Parish Centre Foyer on a Sunday morning. This is a great idea if you are going on holiday – don’t let things go off in your fridge or larder – donate them!
The stall is then open on a Sunday morning from 8am-10am and then 11am-12noon for all to help themselves. Nothing will be wasted – that’s the plan! (Left-over stall produce that is in a good condition will be stored and offered to each Thursday foodbank session).
