Welcome to our Faith Confirmed Course
We are meeting in St James’ Church Weybridge, All Souls Chapel weekly on Tuesdays at 1pm or 7.30pm during 2026. Both sessions are identical in content so attendance can be interchangeable.
What is Faith Confirmed?
Faith Confirmed is an introductory course to what Anglican Christians believe. It is for those preparing for confirmation, but also those who want to know more about the essentials of the Christian faith as well as those who would like to renew their faith and understanding. We are using the resource book “Faith Confirmed” by Peter Jackson and Chris Wright – ISBN: 0281064237. You may like to order a copy of this resource in advance of attending a session. Copies are also available to buy from the Parish Office.

1: Tuesday 6th January – Introduction to Faith Confirmed
2: Tuesday 13th January – How Do We Know God?
3: Tuesday 20th January – Who is Jesus? Life & Ministry
4: Tuesday 27th January – Jesus’ Death, Resurrection & Ascension
5: Tuesday 3rd February – The Power to Change – the Holy Spirit
6: Tuesday 10th February – The Church, the Anglican Communion, the Body of Christ, Creeds and Inclusive Church
7: Tuesday 17th February – The Bible – a Powerful Book
We will break for Lent 2026
(Instead we will run a 5 Week Lent course following ‘The Nail’ by Archbishop Stephen Cottrell. We resume Faith Confirmed after the Easter Holidays)

9: Tuesday 21st April – Living as a Christian Disciple Today
10: Tuesday 28th April – Sacraments 1: Baptism, Confirmation & Ordination
11: Tuesday 5th May – Sacraments 2: The Eucharist – Jesus Made Known
12: Tuesday 12th May – Sacraments 3: Marriage, Confession, Anointing, Healing and Relationships (including Living in Love and Faith)
13: Tuesday 19th May – Sin, Judgement, Hell, Heaven and Life after Death
