Welcome to our Emmaus Journey!
We are meeting in St James’ Church Weybridge, All Souls Chapel weekly on Tuesdays at 1pm or 7.30pm this Autumn 2025. Both sessions are identical in content so attendance can be interchangeable. We also plan to record the 1pm session for later viewing on this website.
What is Emmaus Nurture?
Emmaus (nurture) is a course designed to welcome people into the Christian faith and the life of the Church. It aims to involve the whole Church in evangelism, the nurture of new believers and ongoing Christian discipleship. These sessions are intergenerational and inclusive in nature, for those exploring faith and questions of life, morality, and purpose, for those with a long-established faith and all in between.
Following the example of Jesus as he walks with the disciples on the Emmaus Road (see Luke 24: 13-35), the 11-session course:

14th October Learning to Pray.

(No meeting Tuesday 28th October – Half Term week).

11th November Sharing Holy Communion – The Eucharist.
18th November Living God’s way.
25th November Learning to love.
2nd December Discipleship – Sharing the faith.
