We are well served by about 30 sidespersons on a Sunday morning. As well as handing out hymn and service books a sidesperson’s friendly words of welcome maybe the first contact a newcomer has with St James’, so it is vitally important roll. Each sidesperson is with a group of four or five others and is on a rota once a month.
