The Mothers Union
The Mothers' Union does not just advocate change - we become involved.
We are a Christian organisation of over one million members in sixty countries, promoting the well-being of families world wide.
We achieve this by:
- Developing prayer and spiritual growth in families
- Considering marriage and family life and their place in society
- Resourcing our members to take practical action to improve conditions for families, both nationally and locally.
St. James has about seventy members in two groups which meet in the Parish Centre either at 2 pm on the first Tuesday each month or at 8 pm on occasional Thursdays (MU @ 8).
Contact details are available from the Parish Office.

The house group offers an opportunity for informal discussion and reflection on our spiritual lives within the church. The group meets fortnightly in members houses and there is always a warm welcome to newcomers to the group. For up to date information on House Group meetings with dates, locations and meeting notes click here. or contact the parish office.
