Daily Prayer
Through prayer we encounter the transforming love of God. Our beautiful church of St. James is open every day to welcome people for prayer and meditation. You may light a candle or post a prayer intention on our board. Or simply sit or kneel enjoying the splendour of the high altar, the dignity and peace of the All Souls chapel or one of the beautiful stained glass windows. All will inspire your prayer.
But many people are not able to find time to drop in to church so on this site you are invited to join in our chorus of prayer.
Each weekday, morning and evening prayer are said by the clergy in the church at 0900 and 1730. Only a small number will be able to join us in church. But you can be with us wherever you are by following our prayer intentions and offering your own prayers.
